dude tc:e is the best mod ever, so my question is why is no one ever on it?

There are only 14 servers in the world using the mod according to ServerSpy. And two of them are our servers.

Due to such a small population of the servers, there are only a few players. The pattern I see is there are enough players to almost fill a server. Those players all gather on a server. They seem to change their server each time. Sometimes they play on our server, sometimes others.

Also IMO, it has been replaced with things like Counter Strike, America's Army, and Combat Arms. All three are similar to the gameplay methods of the mod TC:E but all are more involved, and that extra involvement is what adds to the game, and makes TC:E look less appealing.

I agree given comparison to other games, it is a SMALL download, and since you are used to the controls of ET, it is a smooth transition into it. I personally like COmbat Arms better than TC:E, and have not had the chance to play the Counter Strike series.
